2008 Philmont Contingent

The Blue Ride Mountains Council is sending four 12-men crews to the Philmont Scout Ranch June 18-July 1, 2008. Each crew will be organized with three adults and nine Scouts on a first-come-first-served basis. The expedition is a 12-day program with 10 days of hiking rugged mountain trails, carrying everything you need in your 35-pound pack and living on your Scouting skills. Important Information:
Dates: June 18- July 1, 2008
Estimated Cost : $1,290 (Final cost may vary)
Required Deposit: $150 (Non-refundable)
Who Can Participate: Scouts who are 14 years old by January 1, 2008 and have completed the eighth grade; selected adult Scout leaders.
How Many Can Go: Only four crews of nine Scouts and three adults each will make up this contingent.

Registration:
Registration will be done on a first-come-first-serve bases with in the council. A $150 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is due at the time of registration (please make all checks payable to BSA). To register fill out the attached registration form and mail the form and your deposit to:
